Am I giving you all my profit?+
No. Every dollar you're making today stays yours. I only share in the growth: 10% of the gross profit we add above your benchmark. You keep 90% of everything we build on top of it.
Why a profit share?+
The base covers my time. The profit share means I'm invested in the same thing you are: more profit in your business.
How is my benchmark set?+
It's your average monthly gross profit over the 6 months before we start. If your business is highly seasonal, we use 12 months instead, so one big or slow season doesn't skew it. Your benchmark stays the same for as long as we work together, including at renewal.
What counts as gross profit?+
Cash collected minus the direct costs of delivering client work: the team and contractors who deliver it, plus inventory if you carry it. Merchant fees, software, and overhead aren't subtracted.
What if a client pays in full?+
If a payment covers more than 2 months of work, we spread it across the months it covers. One big payment shouldn't create a spike on paper.
What if my profit dips below my benchmark?+
You pay the base only that month. Each month is calculated on its own.
If I hire, won't my gross profit drop?+
In the short term, it can. That's why hiring is built into your plan, not a reaction to a busy month. We hire when the numbers support it, so a new team member grows your profit over time, not just your payroll.
How does reporting work?+
By the 20th of each month, you upload your P&L for the prior month and fill out a short form. Your invoice follows, due by the end of that month.
When does the profit share start?+
In month 1. Month 1's share is invoiced in month 2.
Is there a cap?+
No. If your profit grows a lot, we both win, and you still keep 90%.
Can I pay a flat fee instead?+
No. The profit share is what makes this a partnership.
What's the commitment?+
6 months, renewing automatically. You can cancel anytime with 30 days' notice.
